Hello! My name is Julian. I am currently a postdoc at the Faculty of Physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where I work in the group of Erwin Frey. Before that, I was a postdoc at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at Cambridge University, where I worked mainly with Ronojoy Adhikari in the Soft Matter Research Group. Before that, I did my PhD in the group of Roland Netz at the Physics Department at Freie Universität Berlin.

My current research is focused on stochastic processes and collective effects in many-particle systems. I am particularly interested in coarse graining, parametrizing stochastic models, and more generally efficiently extracting information from observed data.
